What is Camp Heritage?

 Camp Heritage, Inc.is a 501(c)(3) organization. The purpose of this organization is to promote the the stewardship of our land, wildlife and outdoor heritage by providing education and guidance for the future generations. Camp Heritage was founded by George Foreman. Our Hunter Education Camp started in 1999 using facilities at Lake Snowden. Since that time, we have incorporated and become Camp Heritage, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization now with a permanent home at the Athens Fish & Game Club, featuring access to ranges (archery & gun), bathroom facilities, a kitchen, and more.

Camp Heritage hosts annual Outdoor Youth & Family education days, as well as provides support to other events in line with the mission and focus of the organization.
